In early 2018, Stormy became the focus of national media attention when The Wall Street Journal reported on a non-disclosure agreement between Stormy and then-presidential candidate Donald Trump that was arranged by attorney Michael Cohen in October of 2016. Questions arose as to whether that payment constituted a violation of campaign finance laws. In subsequent interviews, Daniels abided by the NDA until March 2018, when she filed a lawsuit to void the NDA as it was never signed by Trump himself. While the lawsuit was still pending, Stormy Daniels was interviewed by Anderson Cooper for 60 Minutes where she discussed an alleged affair with Donald Trump from 2006 and the non-disclosure agreement. The interview aired during primetime on Sunday, March 25th, 2018 and attracted an incredible 22 million viewers.Porn Awards
